Fiver Children’s Foundation fosters positive youth development with an immersive culture that nurtures the intellectual, behavioral, and social development of at-risk New York area youth through a 10-year program commitment.
Why You Should Care
It is not enough to teach or encourage a child to succeed. Strangely enough, that's the easy part. We must instill a sense of perseverance, work ethic, and grit, to keep our children going when they confront failure. The simple idea driving Fiver's mission: positive life experiences inspire positive life choices. Fiver focuses on developing strength of character through providing positive life experiences so Fiver participants have the confidence to celebrate their achievements when times are good and push through with their chin up when times are tough.
