Our Mission
Eradicating lung cancer with our patients, survivors, and their families through research, early detection, awareness, education, prevention and treatment.
Why You Should Care
Lung cancer is the number one cancer killer. It kills more people than prostate, breast, liver, melanoma, colon, and kidney cancers combined. The survival rate for lung cancer is 15.5%. The same as it was over 40 years ago. 60% of newly diagnosed lung cancer patients never smoked or quit smoking decades ago. The smoking stigma associated with lung cancer has kept the funding so low that the majority of lung cancer patients being diagnosed will die within one year.
